Flyde ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Christian Egede Kjeldsen, a sole proprietor based in San Diego, California. This privacy policy explains what information we collect when you visit flyde.co, contact us, or purchase a service — and what we do with it.

1. What information we collect

We collect personal information in three ways:

• When you contact us via email or our contact form: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the contents of your message.
• When you book a call via our Cal.com scheduling page: your name, email address, phone number, business name, and any answers you provide to our intake questions. This data is collected by Cal.com on our behalf and shared with us.
• When you purchase a service via our Stripe checkout: your name, email address, phone number, business name, billing address, and payment details. Payment details (credit card numbers) are collected and processed by Stripe — we never see or store them.

2. How we use the information

We use your information to:

• Respond to your inquiries and deliver the services you've requested
• Send you receipts, project updates, and service-related communications
• Schedule and conduct meetings, calls, and project work
• Comply with legal obligations including tax and accounting requirements

We do not use your information for advertising, behavioral targeting, or any third-party marketing purposes.

3. Who we share information with

We share your information only with the service providers we use to deliver our work, and only the information they need:

• Stripe — for payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Cal.com — for scheduling. See Cal.com's privacy policy.
• Google Workspace — for email and calendar. See Google's privacy policy.
• Netlify — for website hosting. See Netlify's privacy policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information with any third party for any purpose.

4. Cookies and tracking

Flyde.co does not set tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising-related tracking technology. Cal.com and Stripe may set their own cookies on their checkout/booking pages — those are covered by their respective privacy policies.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep records for as long as needed to deliver services, comply with tax law (typically 7 years for financial records in the US), and respond to potential disputes. After those periods, data is deleted.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (California's CCPA, Europe's GDPR, etc.), you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we have about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Opt out of any direct marketing (we don't do any, but you can confirm)

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted email storage, two-factor authentication on all accounts, and secure third-party providers (Stripe, Cal.com) for sensitive data handling. No system is perfectly secure — if you have concerns, contact us before sharing sensitive information.

8. Children's privacy

Flyde's services are intended for businesses and business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. If we make a material change, we will email past clients directly.
